The article discusses some of the issues of modernization of modern industrial enterprises through the creation of an enterprise innovation system. The main functions of innovation systems of enterprises are formulated, investment, information and personnel subsystems are investigated. The formation of the innovation system of the enterprise contributes to overcoming the negative factors considered in the work that affect the innovation activities of enterprises, as well as strategic problems and challenges of innovative development.
