Relevance:Hyperprolactinemia and prolactin-secreting pituitary adenomas are among the leading endocrine causes of impaired reproductive function in women. Dopamine agonists, such as bromocriptine and cabergoline, are widely used to normalize prolactin levels, restore ovulatory function, and achieve pregnancy. Despite their proven clinical efficacy and relative safety, the long-term effects of prenatal exposure to dopamine agonists on the clinical and hormonal health of offspring remain insufficiently studied. The age of 6–12 years is of particular interest, as this period is characterized by active growth and the formation of neuroendocrine regulation. Purpose: To analyze current literature data on the clinical, somatic, and hormonal status of children aged 6–12 years born from pregnancies induced by dopamine agonists. Materials and methods: An analytical review of domestic and international scientific publications devoted to hyperprolactinemia, prolactinomas, the use of dopamine agonists during pregnancy planning and early gestation, as well as the assessment of physical development and hormonal profiles of children exposed to these drugs prenatally, was conducted. Results:  Most studies report no significant disturbances in physical development or marked hormonal abnormalities in children born to mothers treated with dopamine agonists. However, available data regarding endocrine system status in school-aged children are limited, and comparative studies with control groups are scarce. Conclusion: The issue of long-term clinical and hormonal effects of prenatal exposure to dopamine agonists remains relevant and requires further comprehensive research.
