The influence of the Ar+ ion bombardment on composition, zone-energy parameters and optical characteristics of the CdS films has been studied. It is shown that under low dose of Ar+ ions (D ≤ 5×1015 сm−2) surface is enriched with the S atoms, under the high doses (D ≥ 5×1015 сm−2) with the Cd atoms.
