The purpose of the study is to perform a comparative characteristic of electroneuromiographic studies of patients with diabetic neuropathy at the stage of late complications Material and research methods. A simple comparative prospective study of 250 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM2)suffered, suffering from diabetic neuropathy (DNP) in late complications, from 2018 to 2021. Of the 250 patients with diabetic foot syndrome (DFS) at the time of entering the hospital, diabetes was compensated in 55 patients (22 %) and decompensated in 195 (78 %). The following 2 groups of patients were formed: 1 gr. - patients with type DM2 with late complications of DPN without surgical treatment- 65 patients, 2 gr. - Patients with late complications of DNP with surgical treatment are 185 patients. Patients of the 2nd groups were divided, in turn, to 2 subgroups: 2a. Patients with DNP subjected to fingertips, feet - 92 patients. 2b. Patients with DNP subjected to fingers, feet+ plastic (two -storey operations) - 93 persons 20 persons with type 2 diabetes without DFS compiled a control group. Research results. It was established that each stage of diabetic polyneuropathy is characterized by its own spectrum of changes in ensuring neuroplastic mechanisms. The definition of neuromuscular transmission established that in patients of the 1st and 2nd groups, its decrease and muscle contraction is involuntarily. This confirmed the violation of neuromuscular transmission in both groups. Conclusions. In the 1st group of patients, changes in EMG were of axonal polyneuropathies characterized not only by impaired sensitivity and muscle weakness, but also by muscle hypotrophy, pronounced trophic disorders, while in the 2nd group- the nature of demyelinizing polyneuropathies that differ in impaired sensitivity and muscle weakness of For lesions of several peripheral nerves, as evidenced by the data obtained.
