The article presents a hygienic assessment of the condition of the oral mucosa in patients in the postoperative period. The relevance of the research is due to the high prevalence of orthopedic dental constructions and their potential impact on oral tissues, particularly the mucous membrane. The purpose of the study was to study the hygienic condition of the oral mucosa and to identify factors contributing to the development of inflammatory changes after orthopedic treatment. During the study, a clinical examination of patients was conducted using generally accepted hygienic and clinical diagnostic indices, as well as an analysis of the condition of the mucous membrane in the area of contact with orthopedic structures. The obtained results indicate that insufficient level of individual oral hygiene and non-compliance with recommendations for caring for orthopedic structures contribute to the development of local inflammatory processes.
