This paper presents the results of field studies aimed at determining the hydraulic parameters of water flow in the Daryoliq and Divankul main collectors of the Khorezm region. The flow rate and velocity in the collector were measured, and the hydraulic resistance coefficient was determined under field conditions. The results obtained show that the flow in the corresponding sections of the collector is turbulent, and the hydraulic resistance coefficient does not depend on the Reynolds number but instead depends on the roughness of the channel bed covered with aquatic vegetation. These results confirm that existing theoretical expressions are not directly applicable to such networks and justify the need to improve hydraulic calculation methods.
