This study presents a bibliometric and thematic analysis of 852 scientific publications indexed in the Scopus database on strategies for reducing urban air pollution. Using the Biblioshiny software, publication trends, leading countries, authors, and journals were analyzed. The results indicate a significant increase in research output since 2013, with China, the United States, and the United Kingdom being the leading contributors. The identified mitigation strategies were classified into eight major categories: policy and governance, public health, transportation, modeling, COVID-19 impacts, industry and energy, urban planning, and green infrastructure. The findings reveal a lack of studies focusing on Central Asia and highlight the need for integrated approaches to urban air pollution mitigation.
