This article focuses on an important orthopedic condition, hip dysplasia in children. It provides a comprehensive description of the clinical manifestations, risk factors, diagnosis, and treatment methods for this condition. Hip dysplasia has a polyetiological nature, taking into account genetic, exogenous, and endogenous factors. Currently, the main cause of hip dysplasia is considered to be intrauterine vascular dysplasia in this location during embryogenesis. The article discusses modern approaches to clinical and radiological diagnosis and treatment of the disease. The materials of the article may be useful for pediatric orthopedists and other specialists working in the field of diagnosis and treatment of orthopedic diseases.
