Pathological processes in periodontal tissues are a serious medical and social problem of our time. Chronic generalized forms of periodontal lesions in the initial stage of development are characterized by low-symptom courses, which creates difficulties for early diagnosis and leads to a delay in therapeutic measures [1,2]. According to characteristic indicators, the prevalence of periodontal nature in the age group maintains the level of people, with a stable tendency to a high increase in morbidity, which is due to the occurrence of generalized periodontitis and inflammatory processes in the gums. A strong tendency is that this pathology is characteristic not only of the elderly and mature age group, but is becoming increasingly common among the younger generation [3, 4]. Domestic specialists note the frequent combination of dental diseases with pathology of the conservative system, while scientific studies demonstrate the relationship between the development of odontogenic and periodontal formations with the activity of pathogenic microflora localized in periodontal pockets, as well as with the presence of concomitant lesions of the hepatobiliary complex.
