Annotatsiya

In the second half of the 19th and early 20th centuries, condiments and spices trade in flourished in Central Asia. Caravan routes to Central Asia and China passed through the cities of Orenburg, Troitsk, Petropavlovsk, Semipalatinsk and contributed to the development of transit trade. The peculiarity of this period is that trade and commerce gradually began to take the form of money.
