One of the important elements of the people’s material culture is food, culinary culture, culinary equipment, cooking technology, which is of interest to every tourist. This article analyzes the purpose and essence of gastronomic (hospitality, dining) tourism, one of the main directions of tourism, the ways and possibilities of developing this type of tourism in the Bukhara oasis, the types and forms of cooking that have been formed since ancient times.
