The following article deals with the pedagogical and psychological possibilities oftaking into account gender equality and differences in the educational process, especially in primary education. Information on the history of gender theory is given as well. It was suggested that theinitial stages of a person's development in the process of gender identity formation are very importantand that the student should be educated and prepared for social life based on his / her gender
