This article analyzes the scientific and methodological literature of researchers on the improvement of the methodology of introducing virtual educational technologies in the teaching of Information Technology in higher educational institutions. In the course of research analysis, the shortcomings and achievements of the use of virtual technologies in training are studied and summarized.
