This study aimed to investigate the histological changes induced by energy drinks in the pancreas of Wistar Albino rats. Comparisons were made between the control group and rats given energy and alcohol drinks. Histopathological examination revealed the following: vascular occlusion, mononuclear cell infiltration, and tissue edema. Here, vascular hyperemia refers to the dilation and swelling of blood vessels. Mononuclear cell infiltration indicates the entry of tissues primarily by lymphocytes. Tissue edema refers to the accumulation of free fluid in tissue spaces.
