The article discusses the role, importance and advantages of geographic information systems in ensuring public safety, advanced foreign experience in this regard, reforms implemented in our country in the field over the past years, and puts forward proposals and recommendations for the systematic and consistent continuation of the work begun in our country on ensuring public safety, combating crime and preventing offenses using modern digital technologies, in particular, proposals and recommendations for comprehensive introduction of geocriminogenic electronic system have been put forward.
