This article provides a detailed analysis of the objective aspect of the crime under Article 114 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The issue of imposing penalties in cases of serious consequences of criminal miscarriage as a result of careless abortion was covered in detail, and proposals were developed to improve the legislation. The criminal law of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States also analyzes the issues of criminal liability for abortion.
