The article analyzes the definition of the concepts of family and marriage from a philosophical, sociological and legal point of view based on the scientific works of famous scholars of antiquity and modernity, studies the experience of neighboring countries in this matter and develops a proposal to introduce Article 11 in the Family Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
