The article examines the essence of the subject of criminal procedure law and the procedural form in the purpose of the study of the concept of procedural action. In this regard, the opinion was expressed about the evidentiary significance of the actions of the defender, pre-investigation verification and operational search actions, the need for their processalization (establishing the procedural order ) and expanding the evidence base was justified.
