Annotatsiya

This study presents the SEE-UX (Sentiment–Emotion Evaluation for UX) framework, designed to evaluateemotional user experience through large-scale sentiment and emotion analysis of app reviews. Applied to 9,742 Duolingomobile app reviews, the framework integrates lexicon-based sentiment analysis (VADER + TextBlob), transformer-basedclassification (DistilBERT), NRC Emotion Lexicon categorization, and UX component mapping. Approximately 76% ofreviews expressed positive sentiment. Gamification features (streaks) consistently elicited joy and trust, while the hearts/lives system and monetization features triggered anger and frustration. Results confirm that large-scale sentiment analysiscan provide actionable, emotionally-grounded insights for user-centered design in mobile learning applications.
