This article presents an improved methodology for assessing the efficiency of rainfed land use in the Parkent District. The proposed five-component agroecological assessment model (AHB) integrates NDVI and NDMI vegetation indices derived from Sentinel-2 data, as well as elevation, slope, and solar radiation parameters obtained from a Digital Elevation Model (DEM). Analysis conducted across 8,890 contours showed that 83.7% of rainfed vineyards fall into the high degradation category. The developed methodology reduces assessment costs by 85–87% compared to traditional methods.
