The article provides information on the relevance, economic efficiency and practical significance of the introduction of new anti-corrosion coatings. Bitumen-distillate compositions are cost-effective and technologically flexible coatings compared to alternative conventional protection systems. In conditions of a limited budget, remoteness of production facilities, the need for repairs in the field or in conditions of environmental restrictions, bitumen-distillate coatings can be used as an anti-corrosion coating in the implementation of environmental programs within the framework of import substitution through the use of secondary resources.
