This study focuses on the analysis of cognitive processes such as attention, memory, and perception in the context of text translation. The article examines the main cognitive strategies employed by translators and their impact on translation choices and the quality of the translated text. Particular interest is given to the cognitive load faced by translators when working with texts of varying complexity, including the use of eye-tracking methods and neuropsychological research. The findings indicate that text complexity directly affects the cognitive load of the translator, which, in turn, may hinder translation accuracy. The study emphasizes the importance of the cognitive strategies developed by translators for effectively managing cognitive load and improving translation quality. The development of skills in managing cognitive processes is a crucial part of translator training, particularly in the context of increasing text complexity and volume. The article provides recommendations for further research and training for translators in this field.
