This article presents the results of studies on the degree of dominance of the number of grains per spike, heritability coefficient, and coefficient of variation in hybrid generations obtained by crossing local and foreign winter bread wheat varieties. Genetic and statistical analysis of this trait was conducted in the F₂ generation to identify promising genotypes for breeding purposes.
