This article scientifically analyzes the role of smart irrigation systems developed based on Internet of Things (IoT) technologies in saving water resources, increasing crop yield, and maintaining ecological balance in agriculture. The paper provides detailed information on the main principles of IoT technologies, their application in agriculture, the technical components of such systems, as well as their environmental and economic efficiency. In addition, future development prospects in this field are also considered.
