The article deals with the creation of a national life-cycle system of formation of sustainable physical activity skills among different age groups of the population. A vertical-horizontal management model is proposed, which ensures the continuity of physical development at all stages of the life cycle, taking into account social and age factors. Special attention is paid to the educational stage as a key period for the formation of motivation to a healthy lifestyle. It is proved that the creation of a positive attitude to physical activity in childhood and adolescence significantly increases the likelihood of maintaining sustainable sports habits in adulthood.
