Objective: To study the features of the clinical picture, morphological data, to determine the features of the clinical and morphological course of ovarian apoplexy in adolescents against the background of tumor-like formations. Methods: The study included data from 168 adolescents who were treated for cystic and tumor-like ovarian masses for the period from 2000 to 2021 inclusive. Results: In our study, we analyzed the data of 168 patients diagnosed with cystic and tumor-like ovarian formations. Ovarian apoplexy from the entire group of patients was 47.3%, cystic changes 45.5% of which in 21% were accompanied by such complications as cyst torsion and necrosis, 4.2% were cystomas and ovarian tumors 3%. In patients, ovarian apoplexy occurred against the background of cyst rupture or in combination with cystic changes in the ovaries. An analysis of the histological conclusions of the postoperative material was carried out. Conclusions. The most common cystic and tumor-like formations of the ovaries in adolescence are serous, proliferating serous cysts, follicular cysts and cystomas. As for ovarian apoplexy, they often occur against the background of rupture of ovarian cysts, as evidenced by histological examination.
