Features of diagnosis and treatment of dizziness in patients with vestibular neuronitis are presented. The authors review in detail various theories of the etiology and pathogenesis of this disease, clinical and instrumental diagnostic methods, and comparative diagnosis with other diseases accompanied by acute dizziness. Methods of pharmacological and physical rehabilitation of patients with vestibular neuronitis are also described. Experimental studies have shown that during vestibular rehabilitation, betahistine dihydrochloride at a dose of 24 mg 2 times a day can be used to accelerate vestibular rehabilitation for several months.
