В статье рассматриваются современные методы обучения профессионально ориентированному английскому языку студентов туристических специальностей. Цель исследования — определить эффективные методические подходы, способствующие развитию коммуникативной компетенции, профессиональной лексики и межкультурной осведомлённости, необходимых для работы в сфере международного туризма. В работе использованы методы анализа научной литературы, наблюдения за учебным процессом и анкетирования преподавателей и студентов. Особое внимание уделено коммуникативному, проектному и предметно-языковому интегрированному обучению (CLIL). Результаты показывают, что использование аутентичных материалов, ролевых игр, симуляций и цифровых инструментов (Kahoot, Padlet, виртуальные туры) повышает мотивацию студентов, их уверенность и беглость речи в профессиональных ситуациях. Исследование доказывает, что интеграция языка и профессионального содержания сокращает разрыв между теорией и практикой. Такой подход повышает готовность студентов к реальному профессиональному общению и способствует их способности представлять туристическую отрасль Казахстана на международной арене.
