In this study, under intercropping conditions, onion varieties and F1 hybrids were evaluated in terms of the period from sowing to seedling emergence (stages of 10% and 75% emergence), as well as field germination of seeds. The results demonstrated that selecting varieties and hybrids characterized by early and rapid emergence plays an important role in increasing agrotechnical efficiency in intercropping systems.
