Five promising eggplant lines were studied in the breeding nursery under greenhouse conditions in comparison with the standard variety Avrora. According to the results, two samples were distinguished by their high productivity and resistance to blossom-end rot of fruits: F3 L-23-02 – 7.8 kg/m² and F3 L-01-22 – 7.15 kg/m², both showing 100% resistance to blossom-end rot. These samples are recommended for further use in breeding programs aimed at developing new greenhouse eggplant varieties and hybrids.
