The task of expanding the assortment of vegetable products has been a long-standing objective for vegetable growers in the republic, and certain progress has been achieved in this direction. In addition to tomatoes, cucumbers, sweet peppers, eggplants, zucchini, and green onions, farms also cultivate dill, parsley, coriander, radish, lettuce, celery, and other vegetable crops. This article highlights the nutritional value and significance of leafy vegetable crops.
