DIRECTIONS FOR STRENGTHENING COOPERATION AND INTEGRATION OF CENTRAL ASIAN STATES AT THE PRESENT STAGE

Annotatsiya

This article examines key areas for deepening regional cooperation and integration in the Central Asian countries (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan). The analysis is based on the political, economic, geostrategic, and sociocultural prerequisites for integration. The following priority areas are highlighted: economic integration and trade; energy and water resources; transport and transit; security and counterterrorism; digital transformation and education; institutional development; and regional cooperation formats. Specific mechanisms, implementation stages, and recommendations for overcoming key barriers are proposed for each area.
