The core of the article is dedicated to proposing a professional competency model for the modern Arabic language teacher, detailing key components such as special philological, psychological-pedagogical, socio-cultural, and digital competencies. The analysis covers advanced international practices in Arabic language teachingfrom countries like Saudi Arabia and Jordan, the use ofdigital platforms, and international standards for competency assessment. In conclusion, the paper presents specific scientific and practical recommendations for enhancing the professional competency of Arabic language teachers within the context of Uzbekistan.
