The current system for assessing managerial satisfaction with decisions and management practices at the healthcare level includes an analysis of official statistical reporting indicators, a number of expert assessments, and, much less frequently, an analysis of the satisfaction of the executive staff—physicians, as the primary providers of medical services. The aim of the study was to compare opinions of medical organization managers and physicians regarding satisfaction with the healthcare system, in our case, in a border region. Most managers overestimate the level of quality and interaction in their medical organizations, leading to the conclusion that the situation is unrealistic. This prevents management from making rational decisions that contribute to improving performance. The study utilizes a sociological survey to identify problematic aspects of the work of employees and managers at the healthcare organization. Main result will be in development of conceptual frameworks for improving employee and managerial satisfaction, based on issues identified during the study.
