This article examines the phenological indicators of melon varieties under the conditions of the Bukhara region. During the study, the main phenological indicators of various melon varieties during the growing season were studied, including seed germination, stem, leaf, morphological characteristics of the fruit, and yield indicators. The results obtained from field experiments demonstrated the biological characteristics of melon varieties and their degree of adaptation to the climatic factors of the region.

The study evaluated salt stress (75-175 mM NaCl) effects on germination and early growth of 16 melon genotypes. All traits decreased with salinity, showing strong genotypic variation. ‘Kichkintoy’, ‘Oltin Tepa’, and…
As a result of the breeding work, a new watermelon variety named Diydor was developed. The Diydor variety is mid-season, and its fruits ripen in 83 days. The fruit is spherical, with a smooth surface, light green color…
Sixteen melon genotypes (Cucumis melo L.) were evaluated under osmotic stress induced by «PEG-6000» during germination. Stress significantly reduced seed germination, root and seedling growth, and vigor index. Genotypes…
This study investigated the germination characteristics of White Head and Red Head cabbage varieties. White Head cabbage was sown on January 10, 2026, with 27,000 seeds, and Red Head cabbage was sown on March 4, 2026…
Sixteen melon genotypes (Cucumis melo L.) were evaluated at 25°C, 35°C, and 45°C. Germination, root and seedling growth, SVI and STI were analyzed. Significant genotypic variation was observed. The most stable genotypes…
The article presents the results of an evaluation of a collection of pumpkin 30 varieties and hybrids under irrigated light sierozem soils in the southern region of Surkhandarya province, based on growth, development…
The article presents the results of correlation analysis between morphological and reproductive traits of seed fruits in squash varieties Orbita and Viridi. The study evaluated several traits including fruit weight…
This article presents the results of a study conducted to identify the main sources for selection in the creation of tomato varieties and lines suitable for the Zarafshan oasis.
The tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.) 183 accessions collection represents diverse eco-geographical origins. Early-maturing, high-yielding, large-fruited, and disease-resistant accessions, including high-fruiting cherry…
For the first time in Uzbekistan, 11 indeterminate tomato samples received from the World Vegetable Center were studied in the open ground. The parameters of plant growth and development have been established and…
