In recent decades, the concept of “metaculture” has become a focal point of interest in modern humanities. This concept is often employed to explain the emergence of new meanings, innovative ideas, and creative processes at the intersection of cultural environments. Various scholars interpret metaculture differently: some view it as a global communication space, others as a result of personal reflection, or as a liminal zone where new meanings are born. In this article, we review several theoretical approaches and enrich them with examples from the contexts of Uzbek and foreign cultures.
