This article analyzes the technological development trends of airbagsystems in automobiles, their design features, and their impact on driver andpassenger safety. The study examines the functional structure of airbag systems,modern sensor technologies, integration with vehicle interiors, and intelligent controlalgorithms. Furthermore, the influence of airbags on human anatomy and injurymechanisms is evaluated based on scientific sources and the experience of modernautomobile manufacturers. The results of the study indicate that improving airbagsystems on innovative and ergonomic principles is an important factor in enhancingthe passive safety level of vehicles.
