In this article, research was conducted on the variability of the growing season of safflower varietiesMillyutinskiy-114 and Gallaorol under different planting dates and mineral fertilizer application. Based on the analysis results, it was established that in the soil and climatic conditions of Karakalpakstan, the growing season was shorter by up to 10 days in the N60 P40 К30, N80 P50 К30, N100 P60 К40 ва N120 P70 К50 variants, sown on April 20, and in the N80 P50 К30, N100 P60 К40 and N120 P70 К50 variants, sown on April 30, compared to other variants and the standard Milyutinskiy-114 variety; these planting dates and fertilizer rates are the most optimal variants for the Gallaorol variety.
