This article investigates effective methods of current control in electric drives with frequency converters, particularly the operating principles of inverters with hysteresis current regulators. The study analyzes the influence of hysteresis control on system dynamics, its advantages over conventional pulse-width modulation (PWM), and its specific drawbacks. In addition, the possibility of achieving fast and high-precision control by maintaining the current error within a specified hysteresis band is demonstrated. The article concludes with recommendations for improving the energy efficiency and electromagnetic compatibility of hysteresis regulators.
