This article analyzes the current state and development trends in the beneficiation of tungsten-bearing ores. The strategic importance of tungsten and the key challenges of its extraction and processing are discussed, with particular attention to scheelite losses in beneficiation tailings. The study highlights tungsten deposits in Uzbekistan, their mineralogical characteristics, and the economic and environmental significance of recovering valuable components from technogenic waste. A review of scientific research on gravity concentration, flotation, centrifugal concentrators, selective reagents, and innovative methods for fine fraction recovery is presented. As a result, modern technological approaches and перспективные directions for complex processing of tungsten ores and efficient recovery of tungsten from tailings are identified
