The article pays special attention to the peculiarities of the use of tropes in individual poems created in the second half of the 20th century in Karakalpak literature. The author in the article especially notes the use of metaphors, metonyms, epithets, comparisons for figurative transmission of thoughts in revealing the image and character of the hero, as well as their special artistic role.
