The 20th and 21st centuries have been an era of tremendous changes in all spheres of life, including literature. During this period, not only the psychology of humanity and society changed, but also that of all living beings – and this process continues to this day. New literary movements, styles, and methods emerged, and their diversity became a natural phenomenon. In literary works, realism began to prevail, manifesting in a desire for a more truthful depiction of reality rather than an idealization of romantic love. Ideological themes often took precedence over artistic expression, and there was increased attention to humanity as a whole.
