This scientific study is dedicated to the investigation of the linguo-pragmatic features of Spanish and Uzbek informational texts, focusing on the linguistic and communicative criteria of conveying information in both languages. Informational texts represent a primary genre of modern mass media and include news, reports, and official statements. These texts serve to deliver prompt and accurate information to the audience, shape public opinion, and fulfill specific communicative purposes. During the research, Spanish and Uzbek informational texts were comparatively analyzed from syntactic, lexical, and stylistic perspectives. Spanish texts are characterized by a higher degree of expressiveness, emotionally colored phrases, evaluative units, and a dynamic tone. In contrast, Uzbek informational texts typically exhibit formality, caution, a neutral style, and traditional expressions. Furthermore, the selection of linguistic units in both languages is significantly influenced by their respective cultural and social contexts. The results of the analysis contribute to a deeper understanding of the linguo-pragmatic foundations of information delivery in both languages and provide a useful basis for further developments in translation theory, journalism, and intercultural communication. This study is also relevant from the perspective of cross-cultural linguistics.
