The article presents a comprehensive view on the issues of ensuring the integration of theory and practice in the educational process as a training of highly qualified economists, in particular, improving the links between science and applied orientation in mathematical education. The relevance of the problem of integration of mathematical education in higher education institutions of economic profile is due to the need to improve the quality of mastering mathematical knowledge, the development of creative abilities of future economists, the formation of students ' needs for mathematical knowledge with a focus on their future specialty.
