The article attaches importance to the priority areas of state social policy to ensure the rights and legitimate interests of children with disabilities, their social protection. Commented on publications published by foreign and legal scholars who received scientific research in the field of social protection of persons with disabilities. Also, statistics were obtained, conclusions from conversations with parents of children with disabilities. Social and legal guarantees for the protection of children with disabilities are provided. In particular, the main directions of social protection of children with disabilities, the benefits created for them and the national legislation on social services are analyzed in detail. In the analysis of the problems investigated in the article, the author substantiated not only as an object of charity for children with disabilities, but also as the need to harmonize them in society, rehabilitation, and help overcome various types of barriers in society. At a new stage in the development of Uzbekistan, proposals and recommendations were formulated on reforms carried out in the direction of providing social and legal assistance to children with disabilities, existing problems and their solutions.
