The article focuses on the complexities of the transition period, as well as the theory of the political significance and specifics of the parties in this period.The author analyzes the main shortcomings and opportunities of party activities during the transition period, which is difficult for society.The transition period serves to form immunity in the parties to complex processes, to gain experience in implementing political risks in their subsequent activities.During this period, it is important to develop effective theoretical proposals to raise the political significance of parties as a key institution that fills the ideological gaps in society, as well as their activities to a new level.Our study of the theory of characteristics of political parties in transition period on advanced foreign experience is important, since it contributes to the development of political science in our country, especially partology.
