the article discusses the expressive features and semantic aspects of metaphors used in the Russian language, lexical features. Aspects that show a writer's unique expressive abilities and skills have also been scientifically researched. The pragmatic possibilities of effective use of metaphor in literary texts, especially in works of the poetic genre, have been linguistically studied.
