Annotatsiya

The aim of this research is to analyze the changes in the social structure of the population in Uzbekistan with the onset of the Second World War. The research focuses on the evacuation of the population from the territories occupied by Nazi Germany to Uzbekistan, and the mobilization of men from various sectors in Uzbekistan to the frontlines. This led to significant changes in the social composition of the population. Issues related to housing, employment, and providing for the evacuees arose. Despite the difficult situation in the republic, more than 1 million evacuees were welcomed. Among them, 200,000 children were accommodated, and they were provided shelter by the local population. The study emphasizes the impact of the relocated population on the social composition of the republic's population and provides an analytical perspective on these issues.
