Kovshova (2023) argues for the central role of linguacultural studies in contemporary linguistics, emphasizing the anthropological view of language as an essential human attribute. Bondarenko et al. (2020) use cultural studies to analyze language data, focusing on media representations. Shutan (2019) presents a strategy for teaching the concept of time in Russian language lessons that includes multiple linguistic and artistic interpretations. Zyryanova et al. (2020) emphasize the need to incorporate cultural knowledge into language training, especially in Russian as a foreign language, in order to enhance students’ communicative abilities.
