This article analyzes the flourishing and development of Uzbek folk dance art in the second half of the 20th century, prominent dancers and ballet masters - leading representatives of Uzbek stage dance, the preservation of ancient traditions of Uzbek national dance, the formation of unique performance styles of dancers, pedagogical mastery, folk dance teaching methodology, and activities in cultural and art institutions, with particular attention paid to the activities of master artists such as Tamaraxonim, Mukarrama Turgunbayeva, and Kunduz Mirkarimova.
